Communication in End of Life Care

Are you looking to enhance your skills when working with those at the end-of-life, such as those in the Discharge to Assess Team or AHP in Somerset? We invite you to join us for a Communication in End of Life Care course designed to provide insight into best practices in communication with individuals experiencing life-limiting conditions.

During this course, topics such as Advance Care Planning, Treatment Escalation Planning, understanding the dying process and the appropriate use of Just in Case meds at the End of Life will be explored. Additionally, participants will learn about the principles of Palliative Rehabilitation and how to apply these in practice. Refreshments will be provided; lunch is not included. The course will begin promptly at 9:30 am but you are welcome to arrive from 9:15.
