Proud to Care Recruitment Event

On the 4th of April 2023, North Somerset Council will be hosting a Proud to Care recruitment event dedicated to encouraging people to become care workers. Taking place from 12pm to 4.30pm in an allocated room that has been bookmarked from 11am to 5pm, the event aims to educate attendees on the various job roles within social care, as well as offering advice on CV writing, interview technique, and more – all with the goal of helping to fill openings in the sector.

Those attending will have the opportunity to talk to current social care staff about the realities of the job, and even offer ‘on-the-spot’ interviews for potential candidates. North Somerset Council is encouraging anyone attending to bring any leaflets or application forms associated with their current vacancies.

By hosting this Proud to Care campaign recruitment event, North Somerset Council seeks to drive awareness of social care jobs and encourage attendees to take up positions with their organisation or elsewhere.
