Autism and sensory differences in practice

This self-assessment helps you think about your confidence in supporting autistic people and people with sensory differences. It is for UK adult social care, healthcare and early years settings. It helps identify learning needs and areas to discuss in supervision. It does not confirm competence. It does not replace formal training, supervision, observation of practice, employer checks, professional judgement or local policy. If you score below 3 on average, or score 1 or 2 on any statement, review the relevant learning and discuss your development needs with your manager or supervisor.
