Behaviour, emotions and self-regulation
This self-assessment helps you reflect on your confidence in supporting children’s behaviour, emotions and self-regulation in an early years setting. It is linked to core practice and relevant expectations in the Early Years Foundation Stage. It does not prove competence. It helps identify learning needs and areas to discuss in supervision. Any score of 1 or 2 should be treated as a priority learning need. Follow your employer policy and speak with your manager or designated lead before carrying out related tasks independently.
