Dignity, privacy and respect

This self-assessment helps you reflect on your confidence with dignity, privacy and respect in your role. It is for foundation level frontline workers in adult social care and healthcare. It links to the Care Certificate and Care Quality Commission expectations where regulated care applies. It does not confirm competence. It does not replace formal training, supervision, observation of practice, employer checks, professional judgement or local policy. If you score below 3 on average, or score 1 or 2 on any statement, review the relevant learning and discuss your development needs in supervision.
