Safeguarding children awareness

This self-assessment helps you think about your confidence in safeguarding children awareness. It is for frontline roles in healthcare, housing, early years and related workplace settings. It helps identify learning needs and areas to discuss. It does not confirm competence and does not replace formal training, supervision, employer checks, professional judgement or local policy. If you score 1 or 2 on any statement, review your employer safeguarding children procedures and speak with your manager, supervisor or designated safeguarding lead promptly.
