Learner Charter

Last reviewed: 20th June 2026

This charter sets out what learners can expect from Care Learning, and what we ask of learners in return. It is not a legally binding document but reflects our genuine commitment to the people who use the platform.

What You Can Expect From Us

Free access

All carelearning.org.uk courses are free to access for registered learners. We aim to keep them free. The platform is funded through advertising. We will tell you if this changes.

Honest content

We aim to produce content that is accurate, aligned with authoritative UK guidance, and honest about what online learning can and cannot achieve. We do not overstate the value of our certificates or courses.

Timely corrections

If content is found to be inaccurate or out of date, we will correct it. You can report a concern at info@carelearning.org.uk. We will acknowledge your message within 1-3 working days.

Respectful communication

We will treat all learners with respect regardless of their background, experience, or the questions they ask.

Your data handled properly

We will handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection law. We will not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Responsive support

If you have a question about a course or your account, contact us at info@carelearning.org.uk. We aim to respond within 1-3 working days, though this may take longer during busy periods.

Transparency about what our courses are

We will be clear about what our certificates represent and what they do not.

What We Ask of You

Register honestly

Provide accurate registration details and only register if you are genuinely working or studying in the health, social care, or early years sector.

Use the platform appropriately

Complete courses for your own professional development, not to extract content for commercial purposes. Completing quizzes by guessing without engaging with the material defeats the purpose of the training.

Apply learning responsibly

Course content supports knowledge development. Always follow your employer’s policies and seek supervision where required before applying learning in practice, particularly in clinical or safeguarding contexts.

Tell us about errors

If you spot an inaccuracy, please let us know. Your direct sector experience is valuable and helps us improve content for everyone.

Respect the content

Course content is protected by copyright. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce materials outside of your own personal study without our permission.
