This course breaks down not only the changes within CQC but how to evidence well and link to the relevant quality statement and to each regulation accordingly. It supports the knowledge required by leaders, managers and staff team to further imbed being able to evidence every step of the way and how to to record and title evidence demonstrating a complete and meaningful audit with factual outcomes. This was very helpful and has led to me identifying how I can evidence and link information within care plans required that will have a positive effect on the service users, the whole staff team, external professionals and evidence clearly in an inspection of delivering person-centred acre, promoting independence, empowering individual to have autonomy over the care needs and ensures good practice which will impact the organisation positively. It has taught me that CQC can be challenged where appropriate and the process that follows analysing the areas highlighted which may impact the rating given.

This course was clear, practical and highly relevant to working in schools. It strengthened my understanding of safeguarding responsibilities, listening to pupils, appropriate information sharing, confidentiality, recording concerns and following the correct safeguarding procedures. I especially valued the realistic scenarios and reflection activities, which helped me think carefully about how to respond to concerns while keeping the child’s welfare at the centre.

This course was very practical and informative. It helped me understand Positive Behaviour Support, including identifying triggers, using the ABC model, Functional Behaviour Assessment, proactive strategies, person-centred planning, monitoring progress and reviewing support plans. I especially valued the focus on understanding the reasons behind behaviour and using respectful, preventative approaches rather than simply reacting to challenging behaviour.
