I found this course really useful and it has helped me think differently about safeguarding children and young people. One of the most valuable areas for me was understanding extra-familial harm and recognising that a child can have a safe and supportive home but still ve vulnerable to significant harm outside of it, through peers, exploitation, online contact or places within their community. I also found the focus on contextual safeguarding helpful, particularly looking at what is happening around the child rather than simply focusing on their behaviour or parenting. The sections of professional curiosity, information sharing and multi agency working were also useful and relevant to my practice. I feel the course has increased my understanding and given me some practical points that I can apply in my work as a social worker.
This traininghelp me to understand the importance of managing apsence fairly, consistently and appropriately within a care setting. it also hightlight the importance of supporting staff who are apsent due to illness,
I will take what i have learned into my day-today workby ensuring that absence is managed proffessionlly , sensitively, and fairly. following the organisations policies and procedures.
I found the supervision skills for managers course informative and practical. It improved my understanding of effective supervision, constructive feedback, SMART objectives, reflective practice, and supporting staff development. The content was clear and relevant to my role, with useful examples that i can apply in the workplace.
The training was explanatory and educative, it helps with different ways of supporting/dealing with people with visible and invisible disability, managing their needs at the same time supporting them to live their lives independently, managing their daily activities the best way they can with either AT or 1:1 support.
The course was Informative and relevant to the clinical practice.It improved my understanding of recognising the abuse,neglect,reporting safeguarding concerns,confidentiality and information sharing.The examples were helpful and increased my comfidence in responding appropriately to safeguarding concern.
This has been a very informative session and has provided me with some excellent knowledge to support my learners with if they have any concerns about cancer or require advice if someone they know is dealing with it.

The training content is very knowledgeable and helps me more understanding about raising awareness of disability , it covers extensively and it took me 2 days to complete. it's a bit distract with the advert.
